Good Anglo-Saxon Books!
1. Woden's Warriors
This book explores some of the ideas and resources used by warriors in Anglo-Saxon England and Northern Europe during the 6th and 7th centuries.
2. The Elders Gods
Its purpose is to bring together a range of evidence for pre-Christian ideas about the Otherworld drawn from archaeology, studies and mythology.
3. Beowulf.
We're reading this book in class. It's a warrior named Beowulf defeating a monster named Grendel. It's really good and warrior like. Beowulf is one of the oldest surviving epic poems in what is identifiable as an early form of the English language
